Bachelor of Health Science
  • Students will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the structure, function, and organization of healthcare systems, including public health agencies, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare settings.
  • Students will acquire a solid foundation in the basic sciences relevant to health, including biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, and nutrition.
  • Students will demonstrate the knowledge and skills to promote health and prevent disease within individuals, communities, and populations
  • Students will demonstrate culturally competency and able to provide healthcare services that are respectful of and responsive to the cultural and linguistic needs of diverse populations.

Bachelor of Health Science- Nutrition

  • Students will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the principles of nutrition science, including macronutrients, micronutrients, metabolism, and the role of nutrition in human health and disease prevention.
  • Students will be able to assess the nutritional status of individuals and populations using appropriate methods and tools, such as dietary assessment, anthropometric measurements, and biochemical tests.

Bachelor of Health Science- Pre-Physical Therapy

  • Students will demonstrate a solid understanding of basic sciences such as anatomy, physiology, biology, chemistry, and physics, with a specific focus on how these disciplines relate to human movement and rehabilitation.
  • Students will demonstrate a deep understanding of human movement biomechanics, musculoskeletal anatomy, and the principles of kinesiology, which are fundamental to the practice of physical therapy.

Bachelor of Health Science- Healthcare Administration

  • Students will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the structure, function, and organization of healthcare systems, including the delivery of healthcare services, healthcare financing, policy and regulation, and healthcare reform initiatives.
  • Students will develop leadership and management skills necessary to effectively lead healthcare teams and organizations, including strategic planning, organizational behavior, human resource management, and quality improvement.
