Pennsylvania Institute of Technology Announces Second Annual Individual Impact and Excellence in Healthcare Awards

MEDIA, PA, October 16, 2024 – Pennsylvania Institute of Technology is proud to announce the second annual Individual Impact and Excellence in Healthcare Awards, set to take place on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Waynesborough Country Club in Paoli, Pennsylvania. This prestigious event will shine a spotlight on excellence in healthcare and honor the remarkable individuals making a profound impact on our community.

Highlighting the evening will be the presentation of four distinctive awards to individuals whose dedication and contributions have significantly enriched the community:

Walter R. Garrison Volunteer of the Year Award: Honoring the legacy of Walter R. Garrison, this award will recognize Rick Doyle, B.A., CPA from Doyle & McDonnell PC., for his exceptional dedication to supporting P.I.T.’s mission.

Jayne B. Garrison Community Service Award: In tribute to the philanthropic spirit of Jayne B. Garrison, Shelly Buck, DNP, MBA, President of Riddle Hospital, is recognized for embodying the values of volunteerism, philanthropy, and community support.

Clinical Excellence Award: Acknowledging unparalleled dedication to experiential learning, Jeffrey E. Lange from the Delaware County Office of the Medical Examiner is honored for his outstanding contributions to student growth and education.

President’s Award: This year, we honor Frederick L. Kramer, M.D., whose contributions to developing new academic programming demonstrate an unwavering commitment to student learning and growth.
