Medical Office Specialist with Externship
The purpose of the Medical Office Specialist program is to prepare students for employment in a variety of administrative/support positions in the health care field.
Employment opportunities exist as admission assistants, medical records clerk, receptionist, insurance clerks, and billing clerks among others. Graduates have the opportunity to achieve certification as a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant.
Be prepared to wrok in various health care settings including:
- Medical offices
- Nursing homes
- Hospitals
- Rehabilitation centers
Medical Office Specialist graduates are able to:
